Jaya’s FIVE Favorite Things Blog!

Here are my current FIVE FAVORITE FINDS for this month! #alliterasheismyfave

1. EARLYBIRD!

This will never not be one of my favorite finds! Organic green coffee bean extract for clean energy, ashwaganda for anxiety, turmeric for inflammation, and that delicious blood orange mimosa flavor…this is how I “wake up and get sh** done” every day!

2. CUSTOM NAME BARBIE EARRINGS BY LARO ART EARRINGS!

To celebrate the release of my soulmates Greta & Margo’s movie (we are on a first name basis in my head), Allow me to share these CUSTOM NAME BARBIE EARRINGS by Laro Art Earrings!

We wore them for our Barbie party and LOVED them!

3. COVID AND FLU SEASON IS UPON US! GET YOUR COFIX ON!

One spray in one nostril gives you eight hours of protection from picking up viruses when you’re out and about. It’s not foolproof, but it can significantly decrease your risk.

4. My Facebook friend and chronic do-gooder David Hylan, Jr. recently shared his recipe for homemade dog food!

He said it’s not only saving money but that his fur baby is healthier and more energetic! I’m going to try it for our Bella Imzadi Scooby Doo McSharma!

***So it has come to my attention that maybe bacon grease isn’t the best thing to give your dogs and that it may still not have all the nutrients necessary for health and longevity —  please run that recipe by your own vet before using! I shared with enthusiasm but it needed better “vetting”! LOVE TO YOUR FURBABIES!***

“Hylan Dog Food” recipe! Enjoy!

1 (32 oz) pkg brown rice
4½ cups chicken stock (**or** beef broth if using beef)

1 (18 oz) pkg sweet potatoes
4 Tbsp Olive Oil or Coconut Oil

9) When finished cooking, shred chicken
10) Stir the entire pot mixing in the shredded chicken
11) Let cool and refrigerate in a large food storage container.
12) We feed Scottie approximately 1 cup at each meal.

5. My inner sanctum friend and chronic glitterati do-gooder Judy Williams sent me this book and I read it in a DAY.

It might be the only book I’ve read this year. #SHAME

I cannot recommend it enough! After you read it, watch “My Octopus Teacher” on Netflix! A touching warm hug of a book – check out “Remarkably Bright Creatures.”

Comment and let me know if you tried any of my fave finds! Until next time!

XOXO
